On July 7, the Senate Appropriations Committee announced that it will hold a full committee mark up on July 10 at 9:30 a.m. of three Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bills. The bills scheduled for consideration include the Commerce, Justice, Science (CJS) appropriations bill, which funds the U.S. Census Bureau. In keeping with recent practice, the bill is bypassing consideration by the CJS subcommittee and going straight to the full committee.
The public will not see the details until after the mark up. The Census Project will provide a summary once the bill is released.
The Committee will telecast the mark up here.
