Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund have jointly produced a new fact sheet debunking common myths about the proposed citizenship question for the 2020 Census.

  1. Two questions related to the citizenship question;

    1) If large numbers of people do not answer that one question, does that non-response jeopordize the rest of the census data or apportionment?

    2) If a person or organization advocates that Americans boycott the citizenship question, is that free speech or a potential crime related to mandatory response to the census, and all its questions..
